The fuel/water level sensor features an American standard output of 240-33 ohms (240 ohms at empty, 33 ohms at full). To ensure the fuel sender does not hit the bottom of the tank, it is recommended to measure from the top of the tank to the bottom on the outside and subtract 1 inch from the length of the sender. The diameter of the float is 1.38" (35mm), and if a hole needs to be drilled, a 1.50" (38mm) hole would be perfect.
